Royal Brackla 2006 - 2024 #300461 for Friends of BBR The Netherlands
Passion for Whisky is among the "Friends of Berry Brothers & Rudd Netherlands". At the invitation of the Dutch importer, we travelled to London in February 2024 and selected there, at No.3 St. James's Street, this single cask bottling that is available from now on a very limited basis. Incidentally, this is the second release, as in June we already launched the Glen Moray 2007 - 2024 #5764 for Friends of BBR The Netherlands with a Viognier White Wine Cask Finish.
This Royal Brackla 2006 - 2024 #300461 for Friends of BBR The Netherlands with a Saint-Julien Bordeaux Wine Cask Finish is characterised by elegance and refinement. There are only 156 bottles available of this single cask and shows like no other what Royal Brackla Distillery is capable of. This is a single cask with many layers and a refined balance.

Royal Brackla Distillery
Royal Brackla Distillery is located near the village of Cawdor in the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by the beautiful Moray countryside. Founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser, the distillery has a long and regal history. In 1835, Royal Brackla became the first Scottish distillery to receive a royal seal of approval from King William IV, an honour later confirmed by Queen Victoria.
A unique feature of Royal Brackla is the use of water from the nearby Cawdor Burn, which contributes to the purity and character of their whiskies. Royal Brackla whiskies are known for their rich and refined flavour profiles, with notes of fruit, honey, vanilla and a subtle spiciness. The distillery uses traditional copper pot stills and the whisky is mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks, ensuring a deep and complex flavour.
The combination of a royal history, a picturesque location and high-quality whiskies makes Royal Brackla a respected name in the world of Scotch single malt whisky.

Today, Berry Bros. & Rudd is known for its high-quality whiskies, as well as a wide range of wines and other spirits.
History
Founded in 1698 by the widow Bourne, Berry Bros. & Rudd began as a shop selling coffee, tea and spices.
