Boogieman Beer Society Tripel 2025-002

Boogieman Beer Society has partnered with Eggens Craft Beer from Groningen, regularly selecting a special and flavourful beer. The beers with a minimum alcohol content of 10% are perfect for storage, while the 'lighter' beers can be drunk immediately and are full of character.

We are now proud to present our second release of 2025: Boogieman Beer Society Tripel 2025-002, a classic, spicy and fruity tripel that offers the perfect balance between strength and drinkability.

What is a tripel?

A tripel is a Belgian style of beer known for its full flavour, spicy aromas and hearty alcohol content, usually between 7% and 10%. This beer has a rich history and is inspired by the abbey beers brewed in Belgian monasteries. Characteristic of a tripel is the combination of a malty sweetness, spicy yeasts and a delicate hop bitterness that gives the beer a complex and layered character.

Boogieman Beer Society Tripel 2025-002 presents itself as a golden-coloured beer with a generous, creamy head. The balance between fruity notes, spicy accents and a slight hop bitterness makes this a tripel to enjoy.

Tasting note

Nose

Vibrant aromas of ripe peach and orange peel emerge on the nose, combined with subtle spicy notes of coriander and white pepper. The yeast adds a delicate floral touch, while a touch of honey and light malt notes round things off.

Taste

The first sip is full-bodied and smooth, with a nice balance between sweet maltiness and spicy complexity. Flavours of ripe apricot and peach flow together with hints of vanilla and clove. A subtle hop bitterness provides an elegant balance, while yeast aromas add depth.

Mouthfeel

The mouthfeel is slightly creamy with a sparkling carbonation that keeps the beer refreshing and lively. The alcohol content of 9% gives a pleasant warmth without being sharp, keeping the beer accessible and inviting.

Finish

The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering notes of honey, orange peel and a slight peppery spiciness. The soft bitterness remains elegantly present and invites the next sip.
